Update: As an aside to this story, my mom (Hi!) sent me an email this week reminding me that my Grandpa spent some time in Arnhem during WWII and had a number of friends there. I’m not sure if that speaks more to the smallness of our world, or to the connectedness of my Grandpa. He had friends everywhere.
